2011 Best of the Best Small Business of the Year Award

On August 28, 2012, Solar Screen Co. Inc. received the 2011 Best of the Best Small Business of the Year Award, a national award granted for businesses that have excelled the standards of their field. This was a very special and well deserved award after 20+ years of experience in manufacturing and installing Airport/Marine shades, Air Traffic Control Tower shades, Transparent Film shades and patio shades to name a few.

It all started when Solar Screen gladly offered its services to the FAA, the Federal Aviation Administration which was requesting cab shade installation. We sent our most competent installer, Mr. Bruce Darling, who has always set a high “standard by which all other cab shade installers should aspire to”.

Not only was FAA impressed by the high quality of installation, but further stated that “One of the most outstanding parameters that truly set Solar Screen from its competitors is Solar Screen’s custom pulley system used to control the position of the cab shade. Solar Screen makes custom brackets for each individual window to allow the pulley system to operate at its best and safest efficiency.” It was for our high quality production and installation and a wonderful and well-deserved reputation from our satisfied customers that significantly set us apart from our competitors and let us stand out.

At the FAA Headquarters Quesada Auditorium, Washington, DC much excitement and pride will fill the room as Solar Screen Co. Inc. will be called on stage to receive the 2011 Best of the Best Small Business of the Year Award.
